Inviting Team Members to Your Hoicko Workspace
Updated 8/24/20262 min read
Collaboration is really the entire point of a platform like Hoicko—a workspace with only one person in it doesn't unlock much value. Once your account and workspace are set up, the next natural step is bringing your team in, and Hoicko is designed to make this as frictionless as possible.
How to invite team members, step by step
- Open the Admin Panel from your workspace navigation.
- Select the Team section.
- Click Invite Member.
- Enter the team member's email address—this should ideally be their work email so their account is clearly tied to your organization.
- Assign an initial role: Admin, Member, or Viewer, depending on what level of access they'll need from day one.
- Click Send Invite. The recipient will receive an email containing a unique link that lets them create their account and join your workspace directly.
What the new team member experiences
Once they click the invite link, the new team member is guided through a lightweight signup process of their own—setting a password (or continuing with Google, if that's how the invite was sent)—and landing directly inside your existing workspace, already scoped to the role you assigned them. They won't need to create a new workspace or company profile themselves; that context is inherited automatically from the invitation.
Best practices for team invitations
- Invite in phases rather than all at once, especially for larger teams—invite a small pilot group first, let them explore, gather feedback, then roll out more broadly.
- Pair the invite with a short internal message explaining why you're moving to Hoicko and what they should expect, since a cold invitation email with no context is often ignored.
- Default to the "Member" role for most invitations unless you have a specific reason to grant Admin access immediately.
