Activating Multiple Products in One Account
Updated 8/24/20262 min read
Many businesses don't stick to just one Hoicko product—over time, they activate several to run more and more of their operation from a single connected place, rather than maintaining a patchwork of separate tools.
How activation actually works
Each of Hoicko's six core products can be turned on independently, from Settings > Products. Activating a new product doesn't require creating a new account, a new login, or a separate workspace — it simply adds a new section to your existing workspace, immediately available to anyone with the appropriate role-based access.
What's shared across activated products
- Team members and login credentials—everyone in your workspace uses the same login regardless of which products they access
- Permission structure—the same Admin/Member/Viewer/Guest roles apply consistently, though specific board-level permissions can still be customized per product
- Underlying contact and record data — for example, a contact created inside Hoicko CRM can be referenced directly from a Ticket Tracking case, without needing to be re-entered
A real-world example of multi-product use
Consider a mid-sized company running Hoicko CRM for sales and Ticket Tracking for post-sale support. When a deal closes in CRM, an automation can trigger the creation of an onboarding ticket in Ticket Tracking, automatically populated with the customer's contact details already stored from the CRM record. The support team never has to manually copy information from one system to another — because, unlike separate standalone tools, both products are reading from the same underlying data.
Considerations before activating additional products
While there's no technical barrier to activating every product at once, it's usually smarter to roll products out gradually. Activating six products simultaneously for a team that's still learning the basics of the platform can be overwhelming. A more sustainable approach is to fully establish one product, get your team comfortable with the core workflow-building concepts, and then layer in additional products once there's a genuine operational need for them.
