Transactional Boards
Updated 8/13/20261 min read
Transactional boards (lead, inquiry, contact, quotation, and sales order) are synced with SAP through secure API integration, so sales data stays consistent in real time between the CRM and ERP without manual re-entry.
How this differs from Master Boards: Master Boards hold reference/lookup data that rarely changes (countries, payment terms, products). Transactional boards hold the live, constantly changing records that your sales team creates every day—every lead captured, every inquiry raised, every quotation generated, and every sales order placed lives here, structured in the same row-and-column board format.
What Transactional Boards track:
- Leads and Leads Line (product-level detail per lead)
- Inquiries and Inquiries Line
- Contacts
- Quotations and Sales Orders
- My Task—Log a Call, New Event, New Task, New Visit (personal activity records)

Key highlights:
- SAP pushes transactional data into the CRM for real-time availability
- A Global Import API fetches and updates transactional records from SAP
- Users manage the full sales lifecycle—lead generation through sales order creation—inside one unified system
- The portal uses standard Hoicko APIs for data exchange, consistency, and scalability
- Automated synchronization removes manual data entry and keeps both systems accurate
FAQ
- If I create a lead in the CRM, does it also appear in SAP?
Leads themselves live in the CRM; it's the downstream Sales Order—once approved—that gets pushed into SAP.
- Why are leads and inquiries split into "line" boards?
The Line boards store the product-level rows (material, quantity, UOM) tied to each lead or inquiry, keeping header data and line-item data cleanly separated.
