How Hoicko CRM Integrates with SAP
Updated 8/13/20262 min read
Hoicko CRM integrates with SAP through secure API sync in both directions—SAP pushes master data (accounts, business partners, pricing, and regions) into the CRM, and the CRM pushes approved transactional data (sales orders) back into SAP.
Why this integration matters: Most CRMs force sales teams to work off data that's already stale by the time it reaches them—customer credit status, pricing, and product master data all live in the ERP and drift out of sync with whatever the sales team sees. Hoicko CRM removes that gap entirely by treating SAP as the single source of truth for everything that SAP already owns, while letting the CRM own the sales-process layer (leads, inquiries, activities, approvals) on top of it.
What syncs from SAP → CRM:
| Data Type | Examples |
|---|---|
| Accounts / Business Partners | Customer master records, credit terms, addresses |
| Geography | Region, Country, Zone |
| Commercial Terms | Payment Terms, Inco Terms |
| Logistics Master Data | Plants, Ports of Loading/Discharge |
| Product Master Data | Products, Packaging Types, UOM |
| Organizational Structure | Sales Offices, Sales Groups, Divisions, Distribution Channels |
| Pricing | Base Price, Freight/UOM |
What syncs from CRM → SAP:
- Approved Sales Orders — once a sales order clears internal approval, it is automatically pushed to SAP
- The Sales Order then returns to the CRM carrying its official SAP Sales Order Number, which is displayed against the originating inquiry for full traceability
How accounts are tagged based on origin:
- SAP — the account originated in SAP and was pushed into the CRM; it is treated as verified master data and is largely non-editable in the CRM
- CRM —the account was created inside Hoicko CRM and is pending KYC verification and approval before it can be treated as a fully active account

FAQ
- Does the sync happen in real time?
Yes—SAP pushes updates as they occur, so account and pricing data in the CRM reflects the current SAP state rather than a periodic batch import.
- Can I create an account that bypasses SAP entirely?
You can create a prospect account directly in the CRM, but it stays in CRM status—not fully active for order processing—until it completes KYC and approval.
